    Commentary

  • “Jiro Inagagi based his artistic motivation on the production of handmade paper. On his home Island, Kyushu, several art studios are established where paper is made in the age-old Japanese tradition. Jiro Inagagi based his production methods on a thorough study of its principles due to his belief in the compatibility of organic materials. His compositions are connected to and originated from wet layers of paper pulp”.
